Know The Family Uses Of A Harrison Porch Awning For Caravans

Harrison Porch Awning

Universal porch awnings are ideal for enlarging the living and working spaces in motor homes, caravans and travel trailers. They serve as outdoor reception, dining, lounge and play areas much like a tent or canopy, added storage space like for muddy boots and wellies, extra sleeping quarters such as for guests or pets. A camper van awning shades its contents from the sun, wind or rain and even covers cars, motorcycles and bicycles. As one of the well-known options, the Harrison porch awning has a similar length as most caravan awnings but not as wide so it offers easy mounting and folding. Harrison is an established brand associated with quality awnings for both commercial and residential uses, including the Supreme Porch and Demi Porch product lines.

Positioned for family use, the Supreme Porch series is attractive for its flexible size and features. This Harrison porch awning is suited to just about every type of caravan in the market. All panels are completely detachable, made easier by a proprietary zipping-out system in this unit weighing 23 kilograms only. Without the front panel, the Supreme Porch can be converted into a sun room or car park. The left side panel has a single door. The right side panel has a pair of doors plus it can accommodate either a tall or standard annex, which is excellent as either a separate pantry or bedroom for grown-up kids or guests. The see-through window is sizable and an extra mosquito net side walling is offered for purchase.

The use of 290 gram acrylic fabric for the walls, colorfast and backed by an anti-fade warranty good for 10 years, speaks of the quality of Harrison Supreme Porch awnings. The roof is made with coated PVA for resilience against the harsh forces of nature while the base panels are of Terylene PVC ideal for fuss-free cleaning. Another appealing point is that the color-matched mud walling may be secured inside or out, providing versatility to touring caravan owners. Bracket and foam pads have all been hemmed in to add support, especially against storm winds. The metal framing is a choice of passivated steel or alloy. An extra balcony pole is also offered for purchase. Projection is 244 centimeters or 8 feet.

The Demi Porch series is a smaller, economical alternative to a full porch awning. Lightweight at merely 18 kilograms, it is 183 centimeters or 6 feet in length with a projection of 152 centimeters or 5 feet. This type of awning is fit for use as a changing area, sun lounge, dog house, utility room or for storage. It is also outfitted with a fully openable front panel with a large PVC see-through window plus a curve-shaped door with zipper and another see-through window on each side panel. This Harrison porch awning sports colorfast polyester walls, coated PVA roofing, Terylene-fortified PVC base panels, side foam pads and a passivated steel structure. Both lines of porch awnings come with twister supports, draft strip, clamps, color-paired curtains and wheel covering.
